Our Artworks' Participation In The Fundraising Auction

Posted by Maryline Sunarho on

Yesterday, we went for the big fundraising event, Coleman Greig Challenge. This is the first time Harvest Collection took part in a big charity event, since we launched in June 2017. The money raised was used towards helping children in newborn care unit in Westmead Hospital, special needs students in Royal Institute of the Deaf and Blind, and St Gabriel school. We aimed to raise over $175K for the 3 charities.

We put up the "I Conquer", "Caring For The Sick And The Broken" art prints, and the Brush Strokes bags for the silent auction. All three were done by Jonathan Sunarho.

Coleman Greig Challenge 2017

After long period without rain in Sydney, the sky decided it's time to pour out some rain on the day the challenge event took place. Many people braced the wet weather and went ahead walking, running and cycling. It was such great effort by everyone to make it all happen.

The auction went and we managed to raise $500 for the I Conquer art print and $150 for the Caring for The Sick and The Broken. We are so proud of how our small gifts can also make a contribution towards the wider community, especially those with special needs.
